The twins are telepaths that never grow old. They are unable to speak out loud but rather transmit thoughts through Cogno (and other telepaths) in order to communicate. Interestingly, they are able to sense the slightest movement from great distances and can manipulate light and sound waves. Most of their friends just call the twins “GT.”
